Alison Gannett | How She Healed from Brain Cancer

Alison Gannett founded “Alison’s AntiCancer Personalized Nutrition” (TM), in 2015, specializing with support to prevent and conquer cancer. This journey began in 2013 when she was diagnosed with “terminal” malignant brain cancer, and turned that into optimal health with Dr. Nasha Winters. Deciding to then pay if forward, she graduated in 2015, from Dr. Nasha’s ICAN/TAP program, and has continued to learn from Dr. Nasha wealth of knowledge ever since. She has also completed American Nutrition Association’s Advanced Ketogenic Nutrition program in 2020, and Dr. Tim Noakes’ Nutrition Network Professional Training in LCHF/Ketogenic Nutrition & Treatment and Ethics in 2021In 2022, she became a mentor/instructor for Dr. Nasha Winter’s Terrain Advocate Practitioner training program. She also holds a BS in with honors and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Vermont.

Her virtual one-on-one coaching customizes each client’s nutrition and lifestyle plan using their extensive blood chemistry lab testing, their Nutrition Genome DNA profile, molecular tumor testing, and their detailed health history. She adores the detective work into the root causes of “dis-ease” and guiding those to optimal health. Her recent project encompasses her heart and soul: “Alison’s AntiCancer 28-day DIY Repair and Reset” – an easy to follow, step-by-step self-guided video series for those wishing a nutritional and lifestyle changes to prevent or conquer cancer. Her foundational pillars are to address key areas, an acronym she calls “S.I.T”, which stands for Stress, Insulin, Toxins. She has also just released her third AntiCancer Cookbook, focusing on deep nutrition, clean keto, and Therapeutic Carb Reduction™.

She is a former World Champion extreme skier and award-winning climate change consultant. She and her husband grow and raise 99% of their food at their beyond organic farm near Paonia, Colorado.

During our conversation, Alison shares the symptoms that led her to go to the emergency room, why there is so much research on brain cancer and the ketogenic diet, what a clean ketogenic diet looks like, why low cholesterol is ominous for cancer, the best way to ask your doctor for blood tests, and the new way she looks at her blood labs and scans.
